BLUEBERRY Southern Highbush

Southern Highbush varieties are best grown in the more warmer areas of the country where there are few chances of late winter frosts, when these varieties flower.  These varieties also have low chill requirements, meaning they are great for warmer areas of the country (chilling requirements - 250-600 hours under 7º). The fruit ripens from late spring through to February, and all varieties are best cross pollinated with another Southern Highbush variety.
