Waimea Nurseries has been supplying trees to stonefruit growers since it was established in 1971. We are committed to the long term future of New Zealand's stonefruit industry.
We have developed a range of stonefruit varieties over the last decade and supply peach, nectarine, apricot and cherry trees. We have also established relationships with breeding programmes for new varieties in conjunction with our subsidiary Waimea Variety Management.
We import up to 15-20 new varieties each year for testing and have long established relationships with:

The French government (and the world’s largest) breeding and development organisation, responsible for producing many of Europe’s outstanding varieties. - EUROPEPINIERES
A member of INN this private breeding programme based in Perpignon, France, is responsible for an outstanding range of nectarines and peaches, including flat varieties. - CIV
A member of INN, this breeding programme is owned by a consortium of fruit growers and nursery companies in the Po Valley of Italy.
